Antique Pollard Oak Military Campaign Chest of Drawers

Description

This antique Victorian pollard oak campaign chest of drawers has a lovely mellow colour & plenty of character. The top & drawer fronts are pollard oak, while the rest of it is solid oak. It has brass corner fittings & inset brass military handles, all of which are nicely aged. This chest separates into two halves & sits on turned feet. It’s in good condition with some natural old markings & indentations. The drawers all work well & have fine dovetails plus locks. I would date this chest to around the 1840’s period & it’s very fine quality.
