Description

An Early 19th Century Brass Door Stop or Door Porter.

The door porter with a shaped loop handle, finished with a waisted socle, joining the shank, decorated with raised ring collars. The shank finished with a likewise waisted socle, joining the bells shaped base, with a ringed and stepped foot. The rear interior of the base with lead loading.

Height 15 1/4 inches, 39cm.

Width 5 inches, 13cm.

Depth 2 1/2 inches, 6.5cm.
