Leather Top Hat Case

Description

This very handsome antique leather hat case looks very decorative with a rustic aged leather which has beautiful colour and patina.

The case features nice details like a sturdy leather handle to the top, a brass lock, brass rivets, interior straps and green lining which is in nice condition.

The lock and latch operates as it should and come with the key.

Dates from the late 19th century - c1890.

Weight: 2.652 kg.

Lots of age related wear with scuffs and scrapes leaving a nice aged patina. The interior is in good condition. The two front straps are missing but it stays shut using the clasp and can be carried. The lock and latch operates as it should and come with the key. The leather has dried and split along the back edge.
