Description

A lovely antique tub chair dating from the early 20th century. It is well made and a good comfortable chair. It stands on square tapering front legs and sweeping back legs set on castors. It has been recently re-upholstered in a lovely red leather with studded detail. It is a lovely shape with good small proportions while remaining a comfortable chair with a genereous deep seat.

It is approximately 31 1/2" (80cm) high, the arms are 25" (63cm) wide across and the chair is approximately 29" (74cm) deep. The seat is 15" (38cm) high and 22" (56cm) deep.

It is in good condition for its age. There are some minor signs of wear on the leather but nothing detrimental. There has been a good repair to a break on the back leg and the chair is strong and sturdy and the frame is structurally sound.

The chair has been gently cleaned with a leather conditioner. It displays beautifully and is ready for use.
