Unusual Antique English Desk-top Perpetual Calendar C.1900

Description

Dating to the late Victorian or Edwardian era, this large English Oak calendar dates to around 1900 / 1910.

This one is rather unusual, as most have three glazed "windows", one for the day, one for the date and one for the month. This one is big and bold just showing the date in one large glazed aperture. There are two knobs each side aiding in the changing the dates.

Perhaps this one came from a Farm Managers office as between two dates a personal reminder was added "Crop Report". When the roll comes to the end a gentle reminder is printed "Turn Back".

This one can only be described as pristine condition, measuring 8" x 3" at the base and standing 9 1/2" tall.
