Description

This fabulous sterling silver and amethyst glass scent bottle was made by the prolific Edward Souter Barnsley and is dated Birmingham 1921. The sliced-cut panelled glass body with an elegant fully hallmarked, hinged silver lid

Fitted with the original glass stopper.

Hallmarks:

E.S.B for E S Barnsley & Co (Edward Souter Barnsley)

Date letter "w" for 1921.

Birmingham Assay mark.

Lion Passant.

Condition:

Excellent.

Silver lid in excellent condition.

Glass in perfect condition. No chips or cracks.

Dimensions:

Height: 10cm / 4 inches.

Diameter at widest: 9cm / 3.4 inches.
