~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
A beautiful original antique French cartel wall clock. It is finely made in gilt bronze in the Rococo style.
It is in stunning condition, finely modelled with good original gilding.

The large dial is porcelain enamel on copper with blue hours and a separate minute ring. It is complete with it's original finely fretted gilt brass hands.
The French movement is of high quality and is by A. D. Mougin. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. We have a video of the clock running, please ask for a link.

Condition of the case is excellent, the original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration and there are no losses. The dial is also in excellent condition just some tiny nibbles next to the winding holes. The original glass has a couple of light scratches and a small chip to the edge.

A.D. Mougin clockmaker's mark on the movement backplate along with the retailer's.
