Description

A 19th Century French Kingwood & Rosewood ormolu mounted jardiniere planter. With a removable kingwood veneered top with cast ormolu handles and gallery with a removable steel tray. The serpentine shaped top veneered in kingwood with fine ormolu mounts, the body also veneered in kingwood and having sevres hand painted porcelain plaques to both sides. Supported on rosewood veneered cabriole supports with ormolu caryatids and sabots. French circa 1880

Dimensions: 25" wide x 18" deep x 33" high

Condition: This planter is in superb original condition, cleaned and waxed
