A Walnut George II Period Chest on Stand

Description

A walnut George II Period chest on stand. Having an upper chest section with a cavetto moulded cornice, reeded canted corners and an arrangement of three short and three long graduating oak lined drawers. Each drawer is veneered in walnut with herringbone banding and the original brass swan neck handles and backplates. The lower stand section is of later construction circa 1900 with three rectangular oak lined drawers again veneered in walnut with herringbone banding and brass swan handles. Having a wavy apron and supported on elegant cabriole supports with pad feet. Lovely colour and patination. English circa 1750

Dimensions: 65" high x 41" wide x 22" deep

Condition: This chest of stand is in lovely condition, a lovely colour and patination. The upper section circa 1750, the lower section circa 1900
