In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The hinged silver top is delicately engraved and it comes with its original ground glass stopper. There are small indistinguishable marks on the silver rim and silver top, perhaps continental silver marks.

It is in good condition for its age. There are some small dents in the silver top and some general signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. There are no cracks or damages to the glass however the gilt paint has worn off from the main body of the bottle and is mainly just present now around the top and base. It has been cleaned and the silver gently polished and overall it displays very well.
The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask. UK delivery
