Description

For sale this rare WW1 centre seconds fob watch and original WW1 military leather strap, circa 1917. Full continental silver front and rear opening pin set case with what looks to be gold thumb nail openers to both front and back. The watch is fitted with a very rare 300 part sub-seconds dial, normally associated with aviation or navigation. A very fine Swiss unsigned centre seconds gilt movement, which is in excellent full working order. The original WW1 period leather strap is of an unusual design and of a larger size than normally found but belongs to this slightly oversized fob.  A very rare and unusual set. Dial with a couple of very fine hairlines only as shown in the pics. Watch size diameter 43mm excluding stem and crown which is a rare size.
