Antique French Marble Top Bombe Chest

1920 - 1940
Description

This antique Swedish French style bombe chest of drawers is made up from many different woods, such as Rosewood, Kingwood, Satinwood & Burr Elm. It has a lovely green coloured original marble top, which is still in excellent original condition, plus gilt bronze mounts, handles & escutcheons. This three drawer commode is in excellent condition & I would date it to around the 1930’s period. The different woods used have wonderful grains & good use of parquetry. This piece also has a great shape & it could be used in many places in the home.
