This is an antique silver chest. An English, oak and brass bound case, dating to the late 19th century, circa 1900.

Corners braced with brass shoulders

Inset oval pull to the lid - inscribed with number 54

Unmarked brass plaque to the lid and front fascia

Recessed drop handles also feature the number 54
