Description

Mid Victorian Miniature Painting of a Gentleman c.1850
This is a very nice miniature painting c.1850.
The painting depicts a gentleman of status.
The oval painting is well executed and painted in great detail.
To the right there is a signature, but sadly for me not readable.
The miniature painting is framed in a gilded brass frame with an convex glass, and has at the top a loop.
The black convex glass at the back is sadly cracked.
