Description

A Victorian period mercury wheel barometer. A rosewood case with a swan neck pediment and original brass central finial. A hygrometer, thermometer, mirror, main dial and level. The level is engraved by maker 'DOBEL YEOVIL'. Circa 1850.

The Dobel family of clockmakers and barometers are recorded in A J Moores' Clockmakers in Somerset' ' book as working from 1772-1885.
