Description

A wonderful pair of wooden candlesticks made from solid English oak in a slightly more unusual shape than the norm and a wonderful polished sheen.

Not to be confused with a simple pair of twists, these are the highly sought-after "open" twists, with two hand carved twists spiraling around each other.

The tops retain their polished brass drip trays, to protect the wood from hot was drips.

Dating to around 1900, they both remain in excellent condition, measuring 8 1/2" tall with a base diameter of 5 1/2".
