Description

A very striking set of four 19th Century Japanese woodblock prints attributed to Kunisada who was renowed for painting actors in theatre productions and beautiful women. The condition of these prints is good, the colours are lovely. The simple frames are of a narrow , reeded gilt design and are very attractive. These prints are on 19th Century paper and there is minor wear to the edge of two of them and a very small amount of foxing; these are not immediately visible and do not detract from the appeal of these highly decorative Japanese prints.
