Art Deco Mappin Lizard Skin Sliding Purse Travel Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A Mappin Art Deco travel watch, the lizard skin case with sliding mechanism revealing a square dial signed MAPPIN and also '17 Jewel Incabloc', the line engraved reverse of the watch with a small stand that springs out when the case is opened, the underside stamped with U.S. patent numbers and scratched jewellers mark.

Both the watch and case in excellent working condition.

The case measures 55mm x 35mm when closed, extending to 80mm when open.
