Georgian Folding Travelling Mirror. Circa 1780

Description

Rare George III mahogany and boxwood line inlaid folding travelling shaving mirror with circular swing plate onto turned ebony short column supported with swivel folding legs. All in fine original condition with no repairs or breaks. Great colour with fine waxed patina. A MOST UNUSUAL ITEM OF TREEN - NOTHING SIMILAR ILLUSTRATED IN PINTO BOOK ON TREEN.

Size; 14" high, 7.5" wide, 6.5" deep.
