Description

A fantastic antique pendant which shouts Jugendstil (German Art Nouveau), of a type increasingly hard to find in England. A little more geometric than sinuous French or Belgian Art Nouveau, the harmonious curved rose gold frame is set with a pear-shaped sapphire and 11 tiny seed pearls.

In very good antique condition. Some of the pearls have a little wear to their nacre but you really need to look under magnification to see this.

Marked 9CT. The gold is a little more rosy than it appears in the photographs, though screens vary.

Pendant size: 2.5 x 1.5cm. 3cm total drop.
