Description

A fabulous antique pendant dating from c.1900. The piece is not signed but we believe is almost certainly the work of Heinrich Levinger, well known for his beautiful plique a jour (stained glass effect) enamel pieces created during the Jugendstil or German Art Nouveau period.

In very good antique condition; these pieces are so hard to find these days and to find one with the enamel intact like this is quite a feat! The sterling silver pendant would originally have been gold plated and the silver still has a golden sheen to it. We have given it a very gentle clean but we leave that to the customer's preference.
