The fitted interior of the secretaire drawer is beautiful with a leather writing surface and an arrangment of seven small satinwood drawers around two open pigeon holes and a small cupboard door with its original key. The piece also comes with a key for the drawer and the upper and lower cupboards.
It is a good narrow size, perfect for an alcove and it splits into two parts for easy transport.
It is in excellent original condition. It has been cleaned and gently polished, retaining the original patina. There are some minor signs of age and use, small light marks and small knocks but nothing detrimental and it displays well.
