A dark mahogany cased verge wall clock by Peter Debaufre of London. Circa 1780 with side and bottom access doors, silvered and engraved brass dial, marked with Arabic and Roman numerals. Beautiful detailed blued steel hands. There is an appature on the dial to view the bob pendulum swinging when the clock is working. Dial is protected by a convext glazed locking cast brass bezel with key. 8 day “A” plate verge fusee movement with knopped pillars and bob pendulum. 10” diameter dial
