An Adjustable Brass Floor Lamp

1900 - 1920
Description

The mahogany and brass floor standing lamp, with a vase shaped light holder, above a dished drip pan. The light fitting on a hinged and rotating adjustable arm, joining the rise and fall stem at an acorn finial.

The rise and fall stem within a ringed and tapered column, with a brass collar and socle.

The substantial cast brass circular base, sweeping to a raised mould edge rim.

The whole standing on small bum feet.

Rewired and ready for use.

Lowered height: 35 1/2", 90cm.

Maximum height: 55 1/2", 141cm.

Width: 11 1/2", 29cm.

Depth: 11 1/2", 29cm.
