Victorian Silver Vesta Case 1884

Description

This unusual SILVER VESTA CASE was made by Samuel Clark in 1884.

The front and rear of this lovely Vesta Case have an engraved floral decoration and there is a blank cartouche to the front.

The Vesta Case is of unusual design with a hinged flat flip-up lid.

In excellent condition despite being over 135 years old, this superb Vesta Case would enhance any collection.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There are no repairs.

Minor dinks – nothing much but mentioned for accuracy.

Dimensions:

Height – 1.5” (33mm) / Width – 1.0” (25mm) / Depth – 0.5” (13mm)

Weight – 12.9gm / 0.41ozt
