Antique Victorian Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Description

This large antique early Victorian mahogany chest of drawers is of very high quality & is in excellent original condition. The top two drawers have a very unusual & useful feature of double compartments in the form of sliding drawer trays inside. Please enlarge all the images to see this & other features. The more you pull the drawer out, the larger the opening to the bottom compartments become. This chest has a solid mahogany top, canted corners & very deep drawers. The bottom drawer is extra deep, because it’s attached to the bottom plinth. All the drawers have locks, turned bun handles & fine dovetails. This chest of drawers dates to around the 1840-60 period & is free from splits or warps.
