Pair George III Style Mahogany Elbow Chairs Circa 1890

Description

Fine quality pair George III style mahogany elbow chairs with shaped ladder backs, out swept arms with carved ends and standing on square slightly tapered moulded front legs united with plain stretchers. Over-stuffed saddle seats. All in fine un-touched original condition with no repairs or breaks. Both are firm. Good rich darkish colour with fine waxed patina.

Size; 37" high, 24" wide across arms, 23" deep. 18" seat height
