The drawers are all oak-lined, they open well and are generally clean and tidy inside.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are the usual small signs of wear, some minor marks and old scratches and some minor age related splits in the sides but nothing detrimental. It has been well maintained and as such there are some repairs to the veneer around the drawers and other small repairs. One of the back legs has been repaired and strengthened but overall it is a good sturdy chest now.
