Very stylish oak single desk from Kendal town council , late 19th century desk with a number , this is number 13 , very stylish with panelled back , double arched sides with spindle turnings , brass closing inkwell , sloping top with green leather insert , locking lid with key to reveal aperture for books & papers , super colour all original probably made by Simpson of Lancashire who supplied all the the furniture for the old council offices.
