Clear hallmarks are visible on one side for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1936 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver, along with the silver maker''s mark: William Neale.
This is a fabulous egg cup, the craftmanship of the fine maker: William Neale is most apparent. It is a great heavy gauge silver and stands sturdy.
