For sale a fine Smiths Army issue 14-inch dial wall clock in austerity Bakelite case, dated 1943. The complete clock is in remarkably good condition including its original unrestored dial. Correct Smiths Astral 123 movement with platform escapement. The Bakelite case is the later version case for these and is in excellent undamaged condition. The clock is in full working order holding time. For another example dated 1945 in Bakelite case, see page 221 A History of Clocks in the RAF by Lt Col Bob Gardner. Overall diameter approx. 42cm and approx. 11cm deep. Reserved MC
