Antique French Double Photograph Frame - Lyre Mount C.1880

Description

Dating to around 1880, this is a wonderful and highly decorative double picture frame made from a gilded brass with a wonderful polished finish.

Each aperture retains it's original glass which is slightly convex which cannot be appreciated in the photographs. The top is mounted with a classical Lyre.

The frame stands on it's original folding easel stand.

Excellent condition, measuring 5 3/4" wide x 3 3/4" tall, each aperture measures 2 1/4" in diameter to accept you favourite pair of pictures.
