A 17th century Somerset wainscot chair of fine colour and patination.

The chair having a typical Somerset carved quatrefoil back panel, housed within molded rails with carved/punch work decoration. The sweeping spandrel arms supported by finely turned baluster supports and joined by the chip carved rails beneath the nailed seat.

This is a fantastic chair and very sturdy.
