Description

Very fine marquetry bureau de dame. The top with a gilt rail and marquetry decoration, over a Serpentine fall front enclosing three drawers and a baize writing surface. The frieze is fitted with a long drawer over cabriole supports, with further gilt mounts trailing to sabots. The desk is in an excellent condition with a good light bright colour with no losses and includes and a ornate key. This bureau would certainly add to the decor and ambience of a fine home.
