Kembery Antique Clocks Ltd has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
An enamel dial with 5 minute outer markers and gilt hands. A 3 arm steel balance and a large diamond end-stone. The cover is signed 'Henry Neve London' and has a visible silvered regulation disc. Fine 22 k gold pair cases, the inner plain and the substantial outer case with a classical scene in repousse work with a rococo frame. London hallmarked 1745.

Henry Neve, (Strand) London is listed in Baillies 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working from 1700-1752. He was a clock and watchmaker renowned for his bracket clocks and gold repousse pocket watches.
