Description

A French Victorian Period kingwood, ormolu and plaque mounted bonheur de jour. The upper section having an ormolu gallery above twin panelled doors with kingwood veneers and fine quality sevres style porcelain plaques within ornate ormolu mounts. The doors opening to reveal a velvet lined interior. The lower section with fine ormolu egg and dart moulding, a central ormolu mask depicting a Greek God, flanked by further porcelain plaques and supported on typical French cabriole supports with caryatid mounts. French circa 1860-1880

Dimensions: 51" high x 19" deep x 39" wide

Condition: This bonheur de jour is in excellent condition, cleaned and waxed. Some minor historical repairs to the veneers
