Elm Smoker’s Bow Armchair C.1880.

Description

Classic late 19th.c. smoker’s bow armchair c.1880. Beautifully shaped elm backrest and arms raised on turned beech spindles over a single piece elm saddle seat. On particularly good turned legs, set at a splayed angle for extra stability and joined with turned stretchers. Excellent condition and lovely original colour, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
