Georgian Edinburgh Silver Cream Jug. 1820

Description

Fine George III Edinburgh solid silver helmet shaped cream jug standing on oval base and with high scroll handle. Beautifully decorated with bright cut flowers and swags. All in fine original condition with no repairs. Good clear marks. Assayed for 1820 in Edinburgh, but no maker's mark apparent. Weight 5.75 oz. troy.

Size; 6" high, 5.5" across 3" deep.
