Description

An extremely good quality French Napoleon III bronze gilt mantel clock with inset grey alabaster panels in the Louis XVI style. The clock has a scrolling floral leaf design throughout, beaded detail and rams heads to the sides finished with an urn to the top. The clock dial has gilt etched roman numerals with a French eight day movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell.

The movement back plate is stamped with the makers name:-
