Large 19th C Centre Stool

Description

A Large 19th Century Centre Stool.

The stool with a rectangular upholstered seat, above the rosewood frame. The swept rails with a raised rounded mould edge joining in scrolls at the centre of each side. The mould edge running into the cabriole and tapered legs, with carved flower head decoration to the knees, and rising leave to outward pointed toes. Reupholstered to calico and ready for top cover.

Date circa 1850.
