Art Deco Old Cut Diamond & Calibré Cut Ruby Target Cluster Ring, Circa 1925

1900 - 1920
Description

Such a classy diamond and ruby target cluster. The centre cluster of diamonds, crafted in platinum, features an (approx.) 0.15 carat old cut diamond surrounded by eight smaller old mine cuts. A border of small, bright, and slightly pinkish red rubies surround the central cluster, leading to spear-shaped diamond-set platinum shoulders to flat, 18k yellow gold shank.

Cut – Old mine cut diamonds in the centre, with eight-cut diamonds down the shoulders. The rubies are calibré cut.

Colour – The diamonds are F to G.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS2.

Carat – The centre cluster holds approximately 0.39 carat of diamonds, with a further approximate 0.08 carat in the shoulders. The total approximate ruby weight is 0.15 carat.

Circa – 1925.

Size – M (UK) or 6 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring 10.2mm in diameter. Sits 5.1mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested.
