Pair 19th.c. Carved Oak Shop Display Cabinets C.1890.

Description

Splendid pair of late 19th.c. carved oak vitrines or shop display cabinets c.1890. Large overhanging cornices with carved detail and dental frieze. Over glazed front and sides, left hand opening doors to both cabinets and fitted inside with three glass shelves (24½" x 13½"). Carved with a shell detail and guilloche pattern to the front uprights plus unusual Classical style rounded base moulding carved as a wreath of laurel leaves. With pine backboards and raised on stepped plinths of slightly different heights, though the total height of both cabinets is the same. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
