Edwardian Silver Capstan Inkwell 1908

Description

This large ANTIQUE SILVER CAPSTAN INKWELL was made by S. Blanckensee & Sons Ltd. in 1908.

Of usual capstan style, this lovely Silver Inkwell has concentric ring decoration to base and lid.

Free from and added initials, monograms or engravings, this fabulous Capstan Inkwell is in excellent condition and would look superb on any desk or would add to any collection.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

There is no glass liner.

There are one or two minor dinks to the body – nothing much but mentioned for accuracy.

Dimensions:

Diameter – 5.75” (145mm) / Height – 3.0” (75mm)

Weight – 566gm / 18.2ozt (Note: Weighted Base)
