Description

A fine quality mid Victorian heavy BRASS GAMES COMPENDIUM adorned to the lid and front faces with "tiger eye" semi-precious stones. The lid bears a presentation inscription and is dated 1869. The heavy brass case is internally fitted to neatly house the games and component pieces within. Further storage of cards etc is underneath the lift our tray. Games include: Chess, Draughts, Cards, Cribbage, Backgammon, Large dice x 4, Small dice x 2, Shakers x 2 and Scorers x 2 complete with original working key.
