A Good 30 Drawer Watkins & Doncaster Collectors Specimen Cabinet in Satin Walnut and Mahogany. Circa 1900

Description

A good and attractive watkins & doncaster thirty drawer collectors cabinet in satin walnut and mahogany with glazed doors. Circa 1910.

This cabinet is from a private source and originally housed a collection of british butterflies but will serve a multitude of collecting pursuits. The drawers all have closely fitted glazed frame tops to protect and display the contents within.

The drawers are base lined with a layer of plastazote but can be paper lined if wished. The drawers are designed to accommodate imperial entomological pins.

All in good and very presentable condition fitted with original lock and key and shoot bolts to the left hand door.
