Description

Impressive large French mahogany bookcase or side cabinet c.1900. Seven foot long and 67" tall, breakfronted with a deeper centre section fitted with three adjustable shelves flanked with shallower sides with four adjustable shelves to each. Unusually the doors are unglazed but have brass fine wirework mesh panels instead. Superb plum pudding mahogany veneers across the piece. Shaped cornice with quality brass acanthus mounts. Raised mouldings and fluted uprights either side of the doors. Shaped plinth and legs with a brass mount at the centre and particularly good scrolling acanthus mounts to the feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.

Disassembles for ease of delivery.
