In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1930s.

It is in working order and has been rewired to modern standards to take a bayonet bulb (bulb not included). It is also PAT tested for electrical safety. We would advise using a low wattage LED bulb to prevent the glass shade getting too hot.

It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages, just a few small nibbles around the edge of the glass shade but nothing detrimental.
The lamp stands approximately 18" (46cm) tall and at its widest, across the glass shade, it is approximately 6" (15cm) in diameter. The base is 3 1/2" (9cm) square.
