The stone is secured by four yellow claws within a surround of sixteen white diamonds in rubover settings. Wonderful, hand-sawn detailing in the under-gallery leads to a slim 18k white gold shank.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating and is Madagascan.
Cut – Cushion cut sapphire and eight-cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS2 to SI2.
Carat – The sapphire is 3.56 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.48 carat.
Circa – 1940.
Size – S (UK) or 9 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The sapphire is 10.1 x 8.2. The head of the ring is 15.9 x 13mm. Sits 5.6mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k white gold. The sapphire is secured by four 18k yellow gold claws. Tested.
