It is a sensible sitting height with a comfortable leg clearance of 24 3/4" (63cm) all around.
The table has a lot of character and the patination and wear on the top is lovely and the oak has mellowed to an attractive warm colour. There are two small square holes in one end below the top which has enabled an extension to be put in at some point. It hasn't affected the table structurally and isn't noticeable unless looking under (See photo). There are some signs of age and use, an old solid repair at the top of one leg, some general marks and minor knocks but nothing detrimental and it is a solid and sturdy table.
