A fine Japanese Meiji period cloisonne enamel kogo (incense box) of circular form decorated with a butterfly in flight amongst blooming flowers. This splendid box is further decorated on the underside and apart from typical very minor pitting it is in excellent overall condition measuring 3 inches across.
